Crafty!

While we were in Wilmington today, I stopped at Jo-Ann's since we don't have one up here.
I got the stuff to make some dress up skirts for the girls and five more of those strip skirts like I had made for Lili.


Finished skirt- for reference. I got five fabrics for each one this time, so they'll be fuller and twirlier.

I got creative

and made Lili a new skirt today & worked on some baby blankets I had started ages ago...





This one I turned & topstitched after I serged it together, it's a hunk of flannel I dyed awhile back- actually I think O dyed this one... and a hunk of fleece.


And this one I said screw the turning & topstitching to see if it would lay flatter...

I've got two more hunks of tie dyed flannel & some zebra print fleece to do a couple more LOL

It's pinned because I don't have any aplix yet. I made it from a pair of my husband's old shorts, some flannel, and a piece of water resistant material inbetween from an old snowsuit ROFL...

There is fully enclosed elastic in the back & the legholes.
